We promote Sustainable and Responsible Tourism
One of the core missions of our company is giving careful attention to everything we do to protect our environment.
We consider our environmental impact and aim to minimise it wherever possible. We want to protect and enhance our natural landscape the best we can, which is critical in such a fragile and sensitive area. This includes reducing and offsetting not only our own, but also our guests’ carbon footprints through initiatives such as reducing the use of single-use plastics in our hotels, providing electric vehicle charging points and by becoming a certified Green Tourism partner.
We’re always looking for innovative new ways to improve our environmental impact and partner with local communities. That’s why we have been awarded funding in collaboration with the University of the Highlands and Islands from the Food and Drink Net Zero Challenge fund. We will recycle our seafood waste which will be repurposed into organic fertiliser and used again in the land.
Our produce is already sourced within a 25 mile radius wherever possible, so these are just a few examples of the many ways we’re contributing to the sustainability cycle whilst keeping high quality food, drink and hospitality at the centre of everything we do.
