‘Kids Eat Free’ on world-famous North Coast 500 this summer

As the cost-of-living crisis continues to bite, families touring the world-famous North Coast 500 can now feed their little ones for free this summer as part of a new ‘Kids Eat Free’ initiative being rolled out by Highland Coast Hotels across the North Highlands.

To help kick-start the school holidays, Highland Coast Hotels has just introduced the new ‘Kids Eat Free’ menu for children aged up to eight years at each of its seven landmark hotels located around the iconic coastal route, including Inverness, Dornoch, Brora, Tongue, Kylesku, Newton Lodge and Plockton.

The ‘Kids Eat Free’ menu includes a choice of hot, homemade meal options and are available to all local families and day trippers, as well as overnight guests travelling from other parts of Scotland and the rest of the UK until 31st August.

Already fully road tested by hungry youngsters, the ‘Kids Eat Free’ menu is set to provide mini travellers with all the fuel they need to enjoy their four-wheel adventure around the North Coast 500 throughout the summer.

Popular dishes on the menu include homemade breaded haddock goujons; macaroni cheese made with Highland Fine Cheese cheddar; golden chicken strip in a brioche bun; and tomato pasta, which will be available during lunch and dinner service.

For those with a sweet tooth, there is also a choice of desserts priced at £3 per portion, including homemade sticky toffee pudding and a selection of Scottish ice cream.

Specially designed kids’ activity sheets will also help keep younger guests entertained, including puzzles, colouring and drawing options.

Highland Coast Hotels is passionate about championing the best, locally-sourced Highland food and drink on its restaurant, brasserie and bar menus.
